RESIDENTIAL DELIVERIES

RESIDENTIAL DELIVERIES

Because special procedures are required for residential deliveries, we are unable to provide surprise delivery service. Our balloons must be accepted by someone at the residence, in person. Balloons cannot be dropped off and left unattended, even if such a request is submitted with the order.

DOORMAN BUILDINGS
Our local dispatcher may call the recipient to confirm that the doorman is capable of accepting and storing a large package.

HOMES AND NON-DOORMAN BUILDINGS
We will call the residence and arrange a delivery time when someone is able to be at the residence to accept the order. For most orders, this call will be made by late morning on the delivery date or the day prior to delivery (with same-day orders, the call may be made later in the afternoon on the delivery date). If we are unable to reach someone by phone, we will leave a call-back number. We will not proceed until contact is made. The delivery arrival time will be contingent on when the recipient returns our call, and may be later than the order's posted deadline. If it becomes apparent that we will not be able to complete a delivery on the scheduled delivery date because we were not successful in coordinating a delivery time, the customer will be contacted and may elect to cancel the order without a cancellation fee, or to reschedule the delivery for the following day without an additional charge.

Whether or not the order is actually delivered during the selected time frame depends on the delivery time which is arranged during our telephone conversation with someone at the residence. The delivery time which is established during this call takes priority over the time frame posted on the order.

IF NO ONE IS AVAILABLE TO ACCEPT THE ORDER
If the aforementioned procedures have been used and no one is available to accept a delivery when we arrive, the order will be returned to the branch office handling the order and the sender will be notified. In such cases an additional delivery charge will apply to complete the delivery. Undeliverable orders will not be refunded.

ELEMENTARY, MIDDLE, AND HIGH SCHOOL DELIVERIES

ELEMENTARY, MIDDLE, AND HIGH SCHOOL DELIVERIES TO STUDENTS -- WE NEED PERMISSIONWe welcome school deliveries if the school permits balloons to be delivered Schools that permit balloon deliveries require that the balloons be held at the front office .Delivering to students in class is not permitted. Before placing your order, please contact the school and ensure that the order will be accepted by the front office. It is also important to confirm that the office will accept responsibility for advising the student that balloons are waiting for them at the front office.

Some schools permit the delivery of only mylar balloons, due to latex allergies. Please check to see if this restriction is applicable before placing your order, and make your selection accordingly. We offer many mylar balloon arrangements for all occasions. 

ON-CAMPUS COLLEGE DELIVERIES

ON-CAMPUS COLLEGE DELIVERIES TO STUDENTSWe welcome on-campus deliveries to college students, however,delivering to students in class is not permitted. Balloon deliveries are usually made to a central mail room, however, deliveries to dormitories can be made if the dormitory is open to the public and a receptionist can accept the order on the student's behalf. Please contact the school to learn which location is best in your case. Provide us with as many delivery details as possible, including a cell number that will allow us to alert the student once we have completed the delivery. While we will attempt to contact the student, getting through can be a problem and is not a guaranteed part of our service. The sender is responsible for contacting the mail room staff and ensuring they contact the student. Balloon Planet accepts no liability if the student does not pick up the order from the mail room.

HOTEL DELIVERIES

Surprised (unexpected) Balloon Decor delivered to Recipient

For security reasons we are unable to deliver balloons directly to the room of a guest. All hotel deliveries for guests are left with the concierge, the front desk, bell desk, or the loading dock, depending on the hotel's policy. It is the customer's responsibility to contact the hotel and ensure that their order is delivered to the guest by the hotel. Once the balloons have been delivered to the hotel, Sculpted Air considers the delivery successfully completed. Because several hotel staff members can get involved in transferring the balloons from one part of the hotel to another, we accept no responsibility for balloons damaged or misplaced during such transitsCustomers should anticipate that the balloons may become tangled during this transit and be prepared to remove the balloons from their weight, untangle the ribbons, remove damaged balloons, arrange the remaining balloons, then re-attach the ribbons to the weight.

Balloon Decor delivered to Purchaser

Sculpted Air allows balloon decor to be delivered directly to the purchaser, provided that the purchaser is onsite at the time of delivery. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to coordinate the delivery details, including ensuring a suitable drop-off location and confirming availability to receive the order.

Once the balloons have been delivered to the purchaser or their designated representative, Sculpted Air considers the delivery successfully completed. We are not responsible for any damage, misplacement, or alterations to the decor after delivery is made. If the purchaser needs to move or adjust the decor after delivery, they should handle it with care to prevent tangling or damage.

For large-scale installations, we recommend discussing setup logistics in advance to ensure a smooth process. If setup assistance is required beyond standard delivery, additional fees may apply.

DELIVERIES TO SECURE FACILITIES

There are many corporate, research, and military facilities with restricted access, where we must leave the balloons with a receptionist, mail clerk, or security staff. Please provide a work or cell number for the recipient that will allow us to advise them that a delivery is waiting for pick-up. If we are unable to make phone contact with the recipient, we will leave the balloons with the proper authorities. Please place your order with the understanding that once we have made the delivery to the required location in a restricted facility, completion of the delivery is the responsibility of the party accepting the order.

HOSPITAL DELIVERIES

HOSPITAL DELIVERIES

Hospital policies vary and it may not be possible for our staff to make a delivery directly to the room of the patient. Many hospitals require that the balloons be dropped off at a security station, from which the balloons are delivered to the patient by the hospital staff. The staff may need to delay the delivery to the patient for any number of reasons. Please feel free to contact our main dispatch center if you have a concern about the status of your order.

PATIENT AVAILABILITY

Sculpted Air's procedure is to contact the hospital prior to delivery and confirm that the recipient is still admitted and permitted to receive balloons. Customers will be contacted if the order cannot be delivered. At this point the order can be canceled and refunded.

If we are cleared by the hospital to proceed with the delivery, but the hospital refuses the  delivery when we arrive, the order will be considered delivered and no refund will be issued. If the delivery can be made to an alternate address which is within our service area, an additional delivery charge may apply.

If we are cleared by the hospital to proceed with the delivery, but the patient is subsequently discharged prior to our arrival, two options become available — 1) The order can be delivered to another local address for an additional delivery charge, or 2) The order cannot be delivered and must be canceled. In this case, no refund will be issued.

HOSPITAL RESTRICTIONS

Some hospitals in Houston have restrictions on balloons. These restrictions are generally due to safety concerns and the potential for latex allergies. For instance, many hospitals, including those under the Memorial Hermann Health System, limit or prohibit latex balloons to prevent allergic reactions and other safety issues. Mylar balloons are often allowed as an alternative. Specific policies can vary between hospitals and even different departments within the same hospital​.

To ensure compliance with any restrictions, it's a good idea to check with the hospital directly before bringing balloons. This can usually be done by visiting the hospital's website or contacting their patient services department.

WHAT KINDS OF BALLOONS DO YOU DELIVER? IS THERE A LIMIT TO THE QUANTITY OF MY ORDER?

Sculpted Air offers delivery of helium and air-filled balloons sold through our website. There is no limit to the amount that can be ordered, other than available inventory.

HOW MUCH IS DELIVERY?

WILL I BE CHARGED FOR A SAME-DAY DELIVERY FEE?

There is no additional same-day delivery charge. The delivery fee is calculated as mentioned above.

CAN I PLACE A BALLOON ORDER FOR DELIVERY ONLINE?

Yes! You can easily order online for balloons, which can be placed for scheduled or same-day delivery. Simply add products to your cart and once ready to check out, enter the delivery address, time, and date with any special instructions. You will be prompted to complete payment to finalize the order. Same-day orders must be placed online by 1pm (CST) for deliveries on Monday-Saturday and 12pm (CST) for deliveries on Sunday.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I PLACE MY ORDER?

For same-day balloon delivery, please schedule your order by 1pm CST for deliveries on Monday-Saturday and by 12pm CST for deliveries on Sunday. For other delivery dates, you can place your order up to 6 months in advance. We recommend placing an order as soon as possible to ensure the availability of your optimal delivery date and time.

AM I ABLE TO PLACE A SAME-DAY ORDER?

Yes! For same-day delivery, please schedule your order by 1pm CST for deliveries on Monday-Saturday and by 12pm CST for deliveries on Sunday. We recommend placing an order as soon as possible to ensure the availability of your optimal delivery time.

WHAT ARE THE AVAILABLE DELIVERY TIMES?

Standard delivery time for orders is within a 2-hour delivery window. For Monday-Saturday, you can choose between 8-10am, 10-12pm, 12-2pm, 2-4pm, or 4-6pm. For Sundays, you can choose between 8-10am, 10-12pm, 12-2pm, or 2-4pm. Should you need delivery outside of these hours, please contact hello@sculptedair.co for further assistance.

CAN MY BALLOON ORDER BE DELIVERED TO AN EXACT PLACE AT AN EXACT TIME?

A balloon delivery can be delivered to homes, offices, hotels, venues, restaurants, businesses, schools, universities, corporations, hospitals, retirement homes, Airbnbs, malls, and more. If an order is being delivered to an event space, restaurant, hotel, Airbnb, or venue, we recommend confirming the details regarding the delivery time in advance with your host. Factors including traffic, distance, and special circumstances can affect the time of your delivery. Our delivery windows are 2 hours each day. You can easily choose between scheduled or same-day delivery.

CAN SCULPTED AIR DELIVER TO A SCHOOL OR HOSPITAL?

Sculpted Air balloon deliveries can be made to homes, offices, hotels, venues, restaurants, businesses, schools, universities, corporations, hospitals, retirement homes, Airbnbs, malls, and more. If an order is being delivered to an event space, restaurant, hotel, Airbnb, or venue, we recommend confirming the details regarding the delivery time in advance with your host.

DOES THE RECIPIENT NEED TO BE HOME FOR DELIVERY?

Sculpted Air recommends having the purchaser or recipient onsite to receive the order. We do not recommend leaving orders unattended at delivery. If the location has a doorman, we may call the order purchaser or recipient to confirm that the doorman is capable of accepting the delivery if necessary. Sculpted Air does not take responsibility or issue refunds if the order is not received by someone upon delivery or if another person on-site handles, damages, or misplaces the order.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO MY ORDER IF DELIVERY IS REFUSED?

If the delivery is refused by the recipient or if the building will not permit Sculpted Air to deliver or leave the order, the order will be returned to its original production location. HOW IS MY ORDER DELIVERED?

All deliveries are made safely by a Sculpted Air delivery driver and will be delivered in the designated 2-hour window you selected at checkout. All deliveries are bagged for the safety and longevity of the order.

CAN I GET A REFUND FOR ANY BALLOONS THAT POP DURING MY DELIVERY?

If there are any balloons that are damaged during the delivery process, we will replace them upon delivery availability during our business hours. If not, we will refund you for the defective balloon.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY ORDER FOR DELIVERY?

A delivery order can be canceled up to 5 days before your scheduled delivery date. Please email hello@sculptedair.co and include your order number when canceling. If you cancel a delivery after this window has passed, the order will be canceled, but a refund cannot be issued. Cancellations must be made via email.

CAN I RESCHEDULE OR CHANGE MY DELIVERY TIME?

Delivery order times can be adjusted upon availability. Please email hello@sculptedair.co at least 5 days in advance of your scheduled delivery date to adjust the delivery date and/or time. Changes to a delivery time must be made via email.

HOW CAN I CONFIRM THAT AN ORDER HAS BEEN DELIVERED?
